Thanks to everyone that entered our Dan Dare: The Legendary Hero. So many of you had such fantastic words about our legendary pilot of the future. It was hard to select just 10 winners to receive the Dan Dare limited edition lithographs signed by Garth Ennis. But rest assured, we actually do have a few more autographed lithos tucked away for a rainy day, so keep your eyes open for future Dan Dare contests!

The wait is over!  We’re proud to announce that the creator of the wildly ambitious “Family From Hell: A Documentary” has won the Shadow Hunter’s Family From Hell grand prize—a custom sketch by Shadow Hunter cover artist, Greg Horn. We haven’t decided just how badly the Shadow Hunter will be kicking their ass in the picture.

We had so many fantastic submissions that not only was it hard to pick the Grand Prize winner, but it was equally hard to select the 10 runner ups, who will all receive autographed Shadow Hunter lithographs and a collection of Virgin Comics Trade Paperbacks.

We got a great number of submissions for the recently concluded Family From Hell contest and are happy to announce the two finalists for the Grand Prize—a custom sketch by Shadow Hunter cover artist, Greg Horn, drawing the winner getting their ass kicked by the badass Shadow Hunter! Due to overwhelming interest in our Family From Hell contest for Jenna Jameson’s Shadow Hunter, we’ve decided to extend the entry cut-off date to April 1st. Please keep in mind that any entry submitted to familyfromhell@virgincomics.com will be eligible to win, but we can only post submissions that include some sort of visual element in our interactive Kyte player. We have received numerous text-only entries, which are still in the running to win but cannot be updated onto our Kyte player.

The fans have spoken! Jenna Jameson’s Shadow Hunter #1 is selling out in comic shops around the country. The Greg Horn cover in particular seems to be the toughest to get a hold off. But have no fear, we still have copies at the Virgin Comics Store, as well as the other two variants and limited edition lithographs.

We here at Virgin Comics did a double-take yesterday morning when we saw a blue guy being interviewed by Matt Lauer on The Today Show. Sure we have a blue guy in Rama from the Ramayan 3392AD comic, but it also made us think about the Blue Man Group, the time when Dr. Tobias Fünke painted his whole body blue, and crazy sports fans on Gameday.
